GenAI Explorers

Gen AI Explorers is a relatively new student organization at UMassD focused on creating opportunities for students to learn about and explore Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.

Since the club was established, we have organized a guest talk featuring Sneh Pillai, which provided students with an opportunity to learn about AI-related topics and engage with someone with experience in the field. During the most recent semester, we also held a student gathering at the end of the semester to bring members together and build interest and participation in the club.

As a growing organization, our goal is to develop into a regular and active student community at UMassD. Moving forward, we plan to organize regular AI-focused meetings, hands-on workshops, discussions, and projects involving Python, AI techniques, AI agents, and robotics. We also hope to provide students with opportunities to participate in AI courses and professional certification programs.

Through these activities, we aim to give students a place to learn outside the classroom, work on practical projects, collaborate with other students, and explore skills that are increasingly relevant to academic and professional opportunities.
