Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority

The mission of Alpha Sigma Tau at UMass Dartmouth is to invest in women by instilling the skills necessary to navigate life and inspire members to enrich their own lives and the lives of others.

Alpha Sigma Tau at UMass Dartmouth focuses on sisterhood, leadership, service, and personal growth through philanthropy events, fundraisers, community service, social activities, educational programs, and campus involvement. Our organization contributes to the UMassD community by encouraging students to build meaningful connections, develop leadership skills, support important causes, and become active members of the campus community. Through collaboration with other organizations and participation in university events, we strive to create a welcoming environment while making a positive impact on campus and in the surrounding community.

We are raising funds to attend the next National Convention--a meaningful opportunity for our members to grow as leaders, strengthen our sisterhood, connect with Alpha Sigma Tau sisters from across the country, and bring new ideas and experiences back to our chapter.

In addition to Convention, funds raised will help support our chapter’s general operating expenses throughout the year, including events, programming, member experiences, and other costs that help us continue creating a strong and active chapter. We truly appreciate any support that helps us continue growing and making a positive impact within our chapter and community!
