The Ghanaian Student Association is dedicated to fostering the unity, awareness, and excellence the country possesses. We say, "In unity lies strength.” Our mission is to promote Ghanaian cultures while providing a network for students to learn more. We aim to celebrate culture, heritage of all, empowerment of members, and uniting people of all backgrounds. Join us as we strive to create an inclusive & vibrant community embracing the future ahead!
During our first year on campus, GSA has become an inclusive community to the African population on Campus. Our meetings range from fun activities such as Jeopardy Nights, Cake Decorating Challenges, or even giveaways; to topics surrounding experiences many Africans, people of color - or any individuals may experience in their daily life.
The Ghanaian Student Association will be having our first ever major event EVER on campus Spring Semester 2025! With this fundraiser, it will be very beneficial to help us alleviate the cost of venue, costuming, catering, and more. As a fairly new organization, it is sometimes difficult to garner funds to hold special events, but we have faith and are very excited to move forward! We appreciate everything!
