The Charlton Women in Business is a community and network of dedicated undergraduate and graduate students. The goal of CWIB is to foster personal and professional growth through collaborative connections, meaningful relationships, mentorship and programming.
CWIB provides resources and support for students looking to improve their career, academic and personal goals. We held events in the past that provided speakers, resources and preparation for life after UMassD.
Funds raised will support programming for our members, possibly field trips for specific educational and/or empowering events that provide support and resources to any members interested in attending. Some of the events are as follows:
Plan event with Women in Business organization out of UMass Lowell. (Expanding network)
An event surrounding headshots and networking- Strike a Pose, Make a Connection (Educating on Career and Connection)
Sponsor a national/ local conference for members to attend (partial or full) (Networking, Education, Empowerment)
