American Society of Mechanical Engineers

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers Club teaches students to combine their academic skills with technical knowledge to design, engineer, and manufacture mechanical projects.

Our organization has always been an active part of the UMass Dartmouth community. We strive to represent the school in the best light possible. ASME actively attends open house events, presents to local schools, and maintains a positive community within the club that is welcoming to all students who are interested.

We are raising money for our main project. Building and competing in Baja SAE. We will be using the funding for parts and tooling related to building the Baja Buggy. We will also need to use the funding to support our competition expenses.
