American Society of Interior Design Student Chapter

The ASID UMass Dartmouth Student Chapter advances the profession of Interior Architecture and Design by fostering student involvement, collaboration, and leadership. We provide opportunities for members to gain real-world experience that enriches their academic learning, while promoting professional networking, community engagement, and a deeper understanding of sustainable and innovative design practices.

Our activities focus on student engagement, increasing student involvement in the design world, and allowing students to not only connect with one another, but to learn from design professionals we invite into our space. We attend the Corsair Fair every year to invite more students into our program and spread awareness on our mission as a student group. Through lunch and learns, and attending the national ASID conference we not only create unforgettable connections with design professionals from all over the U.S, but we are able to share our experiences and knowledge with others back on campus.

We would like to raise funds for our ASID student chapter in order to hold student engagement events such as lunch & learns, student sessions, and the national ASID annual trip to further our knowledge and connections in the design field.
