Gifts to Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority contribute to...
The mission of Alpha Sigma Tau at UMass Dartmouth is to invest in women by instilling the skills necessary to navigate life and inspire members to enrich their own lives and the lives of others.
Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority’s Gamma Delta chapter places a focus on philanthropic efforts within chapter operations. Within the Fall 2025 semester thus far, sisters have participated in the 9/11 Day of Service hosted by the Dartmouth YMCA, the 9/11 Stair Walk at Gillette Stadium, the Providence Making Strides Walk in support of Breast Cancer, and chapter fundraising for Breast Cancer research. The chapter plans to attend additional philanthropic events with Gifts to Give and sponsor a local child for the holiday.
We are raising money to support the sisters of the Gamma Delta Chapter of Alpha Sigma Tau at UMass Dartmouth in attending our National Convention. This event is an incredible opportunity for our chapter, as it allows our members to deepen their understanding of sisterhood, strengthen connections with sisters across the country, and represent UMass Dartmouth on a national level. The funds raised will go directly toward covering travel expenses, registration fees, and lodging for our sisters. By easing the financial burden, we can ensure that more members are able to participate and bring back valuable knowledge, leadership skills, and experiences to share with the entire chapter. Your support will not only help us attend this important event but will also empower our sisters to grow personally and professionally, while continuing to strengthen the Gamma Delta Chapter for years to come.
