Gifts to Community Resource Dog contribute to...
Over the past year and a half, Beacon, UMass Boston’s Community Resource Dog, has made an incredible impact on our campus. This program, led by the UMass Boston Police Department, has enhanced positive interactions, supported mental health and trauma response efforts, and strengthened connections within our diverse community.
Beacon has become a cherished part of our campus by:
- Providing comfort and support to individuals in need.
- Serving as a bridge across cultures, beliefs, and perspectives.
- Assisting in victim advocacy and mental health outreach.
To sustain and grow this impactful program, we need your support. Contributions will help fund:
- Ongoing training to ensure Beacon remains a trusted resource.
- Veterinary care to keep Beacon healthy and active.
- Food and daily care for our beloved campus companion.
- Program enhancements to expand Beacon's reach across campus.
By giving today, you’ll ensure that Beacon continues to bring comfort, connection, and support to our UMass Boston community for years to come.
Make your gift today and support Beacon and the UMass Boston Community Resource Dog Program!
