The UMass Boston Cheerleading Club is more than just a team—it’s a group of dedicated athletes who inspire school spirit, foster teamwork, and represent the university with pride. Their mission extends beyond cheering at games, as they aim to promote fitness, self-esteem, and enthusiasm while building bonds that last a lifetime.
Last year, the Cheer Team made history by placing second at the NCA College Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida, during only their second time competing and first time earning a podium finish. Now, they’re gearing up to take the mat again, striving for first place!
What Your Support Will Fund:
- Travel Expenses: Help the team get to Daytona Beach to represent UMass Boston on the national stage.
- Competition Fees: Cover entry costs to ensure the team can participate.
- Uniforms and Equipment: Provide the tools needed to showcase their best performance.
- Practice Facility Costs: Ensure they have access to the spaces they need for training.
- Food and Accommodations: Support the team while they’re away competing.
