UofL Health invested in the health of Bullitt County and the surrounding area with the opening of a full-service, inpatient hospital in March 2024. With approximately 170,000 square feet, UofL Health - South Hospital brings modern and spacious inpatient rooms, enhanced emergency capabilities, increased surgical and outpatient services, new intensive care services, more primary care and specialty providers and more job and volunteer opportunities. Now, family and friends needing inpatient care can now stay in their own community. Because closer truly is best.
Funds raised for the new UofL Health – South Hospital will go to the area of greatest impact.
