Hello Leos! As a 2017 graduate and proud ULV alum, I am excited to be back home as Head Coach at the University of La Verne, Men & Women’s Golf programs. I’m confident in the trajectory of both our programs and I wish for you to contribute and be a part of our success.
Travel Funds
Our golf program is requesting additional travel funding to allow both teams to compete at higher-level tournaments outside of our Southern California region. Travel trips where we can compete against other top schools outside of SCIAC is what truly makes the experience of being a student-athlete. I value camaraderie and see it most with team travel, and I wish for our tournament travel schedule to be a new reputation for ULV Golf. Positive effects go beyond experience, it will also establish comfort in big tournaments preparing us for postseason golf at the NCAA Championships, where we can expect to travel as well.
Gameplan
My plan is to place both our men’s and women’s teams in the strongest tournaments possible — events that expose our players to elite competition, strengthen national recognition, and prepare us for championship play. To be serious about building a championship-level culture, we must also be serious about investing in championship-level opportunities.
