About

Steve Pasell was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Cancer in December of 2013 and passed away in March of 2018. He is missed dearly by his family, friends and colleagues. Steve Pasell was the former CEO of American Converters. Each year, the Pasell Open, a golf tournament in scramble format is hosted in Steve’s honor. This year the event will be hosted on September 7th with a 1:00 pm shotgun start at Rum River Hills Golf Course in Ramsey, MN. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Fund at the University of Iowa Center for Advancement and University of Iowa Health Care Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center. Neuroendocrine cancers are rare and can occur anywhere in the body through neuroendocrine cells that form tumors that either release hormones into the blood, or none at all, in response to a signal from the nervous system. Please consider supporting this important work at Iowa!

NOTICE: The University of Iowa Center for Advancement is an operational name for the State University of Iowa Foundation, an independent, Iowa nonprofit corporation organized as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, publicly supported charitable entity working to advance the University of Iowa. Please review its full disclosure statement.
