The Native American House (NAH) plays a vital role in fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and culturally affirming environment at the University of Illinois. Your support of the NAH Ambassador Program helps sustain student leaders who strengthen community, promote understanding, and enhance campus belonging.
Each year, up to four students are selected to serve as NAH Ambassadors. As student leaders, Ambassadors contribute to the campus community by:
- Sharing their experiences and perspectives on Native student life at Illinois
- Supporting NAH programs, activities, and events that foster connection and engagement
- Participating in leadership and professional development opportunities that prepare them for success beyond campus
- Engaging in outreach and community service that benefits both the University and surrounding communities
Support for the NAH Ambassador Program ensures its long-term sustainability and stability. Donor investment allows NAH to consistently recruit, train, and support student leaders who are committed to building community and advancing understanding across campus. By removing financial and structural barriers, philanthropic support enables Ambassadors to fully engage in their leadership roles and maximize their impact.
By contributing to this campaign, you are investing in students who serve as leaders, educators, and community-builders. Your generosity helps ensure that the NAH Ambassador Program remains a sustainable and meaningful resource that strengthens student success, promotes cultural understanding, and fosters a welcoming campus for generations to come.
We invite you to give and to share this campaign with colleagues, friends, family, and your broader networks.
