Gifts to Latinx Law Students Association contribute to...

The Latinx Law Students Association (LLSA) is an affinity organization at the College of Law providing community, sharing culture, and providing support for its members as they navigate law school and the legal profession. The organization is open to all College of Law students, including non-JD students.
The Latinx Law Students Association is seeking to raise funds for its alumni-student reception and speaker events we host at the College of Law. Regarding the alumni-student reception, we want to reimburse the cost of attendance for our members who carpool to drive up to the city of Chicago to attend the event. Regarding our speaker events, we are hoping to host more in-person speakers next semester. Funds raised would be used to not only provide food for attendees but also reimburse speakers for their travel to and from the College of Law. We have found tremendous turnout and engagement at events with in-person speakers. These funds will help with making it possible for speakers to visit the College of Law.
We are aiming to raise between $500-$1,000 for these goals. Doing so will enable us to fully execute on our vision for the Spring 2026 Semester.
