About

Dean’s Excellence Fund

The College of Health Professions (COHP) is committed to preparing healthcare professionals who are leaders in their chosen fields through collaboration, innovation and experiential learning. COHP advances healthcare and human service through nationally distinguished programs with emphasis on health promotion, evidence-based practice, innovative education, scholarship and service within the community. We offer a broad range of health professions and human service majors while encouraging activities that promote the awareness of health, wellness and education. We are able to draw on the strengths of each program to provide interdisciplinary experiences and share faculty expertise across a variety of disciplines. COHP students learn-by-doing, with an array of hands-on experiences, state-of-the-art on-campus labs and over 1,000 supervised clinical training sites. A priority area for this campaign is the COHP Dean’s Excellence Fund which supports students on a variety of projects such as equipment for a variety of our labs, renovations within the college, and furnishings for our classrooms. Donations for this past year have included hospital beds, IV pumps, and a variety of other equipment and supplies for our labs. Thanks to the generous support of Dean Richard B. States, we have a matching gift challenge of $1,000.00 for the COHP Dean’s Excellence Fund.

Nuclear Medicine Institute Scholarship Endowment Fund

The work we do within the Nuclear Medicine Institute, the Diagnostic Services Department, the College of Health Professions and the University of Findlay has a lasting impact. We leverage our passion for nuclear medicine to help support and improve the field of Nuclear Medicine. Thanks to the generous support of alumnus Mr. Tony Marini, we have a matching gift challenge of $1,000.00 for the Nuclear Medicine Institute Scholarship Endowment Fund.  Tony started this scholarship because he wanted to “give something back” to the program.  The formation of the scholarship was his way of acknowledging the role The University of Findlay and the Nuclear Medicine Institute played in allowing him to build a successful career. We are hopeful that others will consider donating toward this scholarship so that future NMI students can benefit.  As the endowment increases, more NMI students will benefit. You may donate in memory of a family member, friend or fellow classmate.  Donations can also be made in honor of a high school or college instructor, mentor or technologist who you feel has assisted you in reaching your career goals.
