The University of Findlay’s Equestrian programs have been a major part of UF’s identity for over 40 years. Today, the Equestrian Department continues to fulfill a long-standing tradition of setting the bar for excellence in equine education. Each year, students fill our arenas with their hopes and dreams, seeking to learn about horses, improve their riding, secure their futures as professional horsemen and women, and learn about career opportunities that await them.

When you give to the Equestrian programs, you help to provide our students with valuable scholarship opportunities that allow them to pursue their education. Equestrian students choose Findlay because they are deeply passionate about horses, and they know that there is still so much to learn. We are grateful that we can provide these students with many educational opportunities to prepare them for professional careers in the horse industry, both in and out of the arena. Because of your scholarship support, we can provide even more students with a high-quality education in Equestrian Studies.

More than 80% of our Equestrian students are involved with at least one of our five competitive equestrian teams. Your support of our programs makes it financially feasible for our students to compete at major team events, representing our great University with Oiler pride while gaining important horse-showing experience that will propel them forward toward their careers in the industry.
