The Titan Equity Nourish Network seeks your support for our Food Fest Fundraiser!
Titan Equity Nourish Network:
The mission of the Titan Equity Nourish Network is to find solutions to challenges in the Detroit food system by engaging student passion and community wisdom. At TENN, community members and students work together to raise awareness, address immediate needs, and engage in critical thinking about the systemic causes of these challenges.
Meeting our Produce Delivery Fundraising Goal:
Food Fest is TENN’s celebration of food culture at Detroit Mercy, and a fundraiser to support our produce delivery program. Every week, our produce delivery program provides 50+ Detroit households a bag of fresh food from Gleaners Community Food Bank, 76% of which is fresh fruits and vegetables. This program, a collaboration with the Princeton Street Block Club, allows college students and Detroit neighbors to build meaningful relationships and create sustainable food access for the Princeton Street community.
Thanks to fresh fruits and vegetables provided through our Gleaners Community Food Bank membership, devoted time from volunteers, interns, and work study students, and the use of the Ford Mobile Pantry, we only need to raise $5,500 annually from donors like you to support our produce delivery program. These funds help us pay for our expenses such as our annual Gleaners membership, purchasing dried goods, hosting social events with the seniors to whom we deliver produce, and supporting the maintenance of our TENN Ford Mobile Pantry. Can you help us meet this goal this Food Fest season?
Thanks to the generous donation of an anonymous donor, up to $2600 of your funding will be matched to help us meet our goal! Would you like to offer an additional match or challenge? Click the “Offer a Matching Gift” or “Offer a Matching Challenge” option on this page.
