🔬 Help Us Send Chem Club Officers to the ACS National Meeting in New Orleans! 🔬

Dear Friends, Supporters, and Science Enthusiasts,

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for the Chemistry Club at the University of Detroit Mercy (UDM). We need your support to send our dedicated Chem Club officers and members to the American Chemical Society (ACS) National Meeting in San Diego in March 2025.

Our Mission: Transforming Future Chemists

The Chemistry Club at UDM is committed to transforming our students into future leaders and professionals in the field of chemistry. The ACS National Meeting is a pivotal event where our officers and members have the chance to connect with leading experts, gain valuable insights, and network with fellow chemists from around the country. This experience is vital in helping them find their place in the greater profession of chemistry.

The Challenge: Making It Possible

This opportunity, however, comes with a financial challenge. We believe that every chemistry student passionate about their field should have access to such an enriching experience, yet the costs of registration, lodging, and airfare pose a significant financial burden for our members and officers. With travel expenses at an all-time high, we are asking for support. Attendance at these meetings is transformative for Chem Club members and officers, and your help can make this experience accessible to all who wish to attend.

Your Contribution Makes a Tangible Difference

This is where your support can make a tangible impact. We are launching this crowdfunding campaign with the goal of raising $3,000. With your help, we can ensure that all 24-25 of our Chem Club officers and members are fully funded, allowing them to attend the ACS National Meeting, engage with experts, and make lifelong connections. Your contribution will enable them to launch their professional journey in chemistry.

By supporting our campaign, you are not just donating money; you are investing in the future of chemistry and empowering these talented individuals to reach their full potential.

How You Can Help

  • Donate: Every dollar counts, and your generous contribution will directly fund our officers' registration, accommodation, and travel expenses.
  • Spread the Word: Share this campaign with your friends, family, and social networks to help us reach our goal and make a meaningful impact.
  • Join Us in San Diego: If you're attending the ACS National Meeting, come meet our officers and witness the impact of your support firsthand.

Your support will go a long way in shaping the future of chemistry, one student at a time. Let's work together to make a difference and help our Chem Club officers and members embark on this transformative journey.

Thank you for being a part of this exciting venture and for helping us inspire the next generation of chemists.

Donate today and be a catalyst for change!

You can make a one time gift or choose to make a larger gift over time by choosing the recurring gift option.

Donations by check can be made out to University of Detroit Mercy with Chem Club in the memo line and sent to:
