Campaign Purpose: Our mission is simple: to support our talented student-athletes in the University of Detroit Mercy Softball Program. We're seeking your support to provide the resources necessary for our team to compete at the Division 1 level, which includes travel, meals, equipment, athletic gear, accommodations, and facilities. This campaign's purpose is tangible, in the present moment, and relatable to our audience, as we aim to achieve a clear and impactful goal.

Opportunity/Challenge Addressed: The challenge we face is the financial barrier preventing our softball team from reaching its full potential. We strive to win Horizon League Championships, but without adequate funding, we are unable to afford the necessities that will propel us toward our goal. By contributing to our campaign, you'll help us tackle this challenge head-on and seize the opportunity to elevate our program to the Division 1 level.

Step to be Taken: Your generous contributions will enable us to take crucial steps to overcome our challenges and seize our opportunities. With your support, we will:

• Fund essential travel expenses for pre-season games in warmer regions, allowing us to train and compete effectively.
• Provide our athletes with the proper equipment and gear to help them develop their skills and reach their full potential.
• Enhance and maintain facilities for the safety and wellbeing of our athletes, ensuring they have a suitable environment to grow and succeed.

Campaign Goal: We are aiming to raise $80,000 to make our vision a reality. This amount will directly impact the quality of our softball program and bring us one step closer to winning the Horizon League Championships.
