University of Denver Scholarships

This Giving Tuesday, you can help bring a DU education within reach for more students. Scholarship support helps remove financial barriers so talented students can choose DU and focus more fully on their education.

That support also gives students greater freedom to take advantage of what makes DU distinctive, from close relationships with faculty to hands-on learning and experiences beyond the classroom.

For undergraduate students with financial need, the average remaining funding gap is approximately $14,000.

Giving Tuesday gives donors a chance to work together to reduce that financial barrier. If 20 donors each give $100, their collective $2,000 can cover the equivalent of one undergraduate credit, helping a student move closer to their degree.

For Valerie, scholarship support has made that difference.

“I have been able to focus on learning and growth rather than solely financing my degree. I believe knowledge and experience help individuals grow and build stronger communities, and this scholarship has given me the time to begin applying what I have learned and support others.”

— Valerie Larson, BA ’28

Scholarships do more than help cover the cost of an education. They give promising students greater access to DU and the experiences that prepare them for what comes next. When you support the University of Denver Scholarship Fund this Giving Tuesday, your gift can open doors and help talented students experience all that a DU education can offer.
