Ritchie School of Engineering Innovation Labs

The Ritchie School of Engineering Innovation Labs are a collection of three separate labs, the Digital Lab, Woods Lab, and Plastics Lab, which serve as a central hub for interdisciplinary and experiential learning, engaging students, faculty, alumni, and staff.

This project is dedicated to providing students, as well as faculty and staff, with maker spaces and materials, such as 3D Printing, an embroidery machine, and a robust selection of woodworking and plastic working tools.

Your generous contributions will directly fund materials, technical support, and essential staff within the labs. Each donation will be strategically used to maximize the impact on students’ experiential learning experiences, as well as making opportunities for faculty and staff which support innovations in research.

With $5: You can help provide essential lab supplies, such as safety goggles, nails, or sandpaper.

With $50: You cover the cost of a sheet of laser-safe wood or acrylic, giving students the chance to create precision-cut prototypes and custom engraved designs on the laser engraver.

With $500: You make possible the purchase of advanced technology such as 3D printers, 3D printer filament, and technical support for the advanced technology used in the labs.
