The Inclusive Global Leadership Initiative
Advancing Peace and Democracy Takes Community.
IGLI Helps Activists and Researchers Build One.
Since 2016, IGLI, based at the Josef Korbel School of Global and Public Affairs at the University of Denver, unites activists, researchers, and students advancing feminist leadership for peace, democracy, and human rights worldwide. Through research, education, and cross-sector collaboration, IGLI equips frontline changemakers with tools to confront today’s interconnected crises from climate justice to authoritarianism.
Today, we ask you to support this deeply meaningful work. Your gift strengthens our programs and global network, and provides resources for our student Research Assistants who gain hands-on experience driving IGLI’s mission forward.
Our work focuses on:
- Connecting activists across struggles to share knowledge and strengthen movements;
- Breaking down silos between leaders, researchers, and the public to build collective power;
- Educating communities about women’s leadership in bottom-up struggles for democracy and human rights; and
- Publishing research that illuminates pathways to peace, democracy, and a sustainable planet.
Together with your help, we're informing, resourcing, and connecting frontline activists who are...
- Advocating for Peace
- Fighting Authoritarianism
- Defending Democracies
- Climate Defenders
- Litigating at the United Nations
- Countering Militarism
- Movement Leaders

Thank you for joining us in building a more inclusive, peaceful, and democratic world.
