Welcome to the DU 4D Sport and Well-Being Community Lab! The innovative and interdisciplinary team powering the 4D Sport and Well-Being Community Lab (herein “The Lab”) advances well-being and performance with and for DU students, faculty, and staff, and the Denver community. Through a seamless integration of multiple experiential opportunities (e.g., coursework, clinical services, internships, research, wellness and performance assessment and instruction, reflection), this initiative extends and enhances DU’s Four-Dimensional Experience.
With just $5, you can help provide foundational performance testing materials for one student to use for experiential education or scientific research. With $50, you contribute towards essential classroom and research supplies, such as weight training equipment. With $500, you enable the purchase of advanced equipment that provides long reaching, sustainable impact, such as a specialized treadmill or bicycle to conduct VO2max (oxygen) testing, force plates, or hormone analysis.
Your generous contributions will directly fund new equipment and supplies that will be used in our scholar-practitioner model – high quality teaching, cutting-edge research, and community service throughout the Front Range. Lab Faculty and collaborators will use the equipment in highly engaging classroom training experiences and applied research that advances sport and well-being throughout DU. Each donation will be strategically used to maximize the impact on students’ career skills and graduate school preparation.
