Gifts to UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH & STUDENT EXPERIENTIAL OPPORTUNITIES contribute to...
At DU, students have opportunities to extend their learning beyond the classroom through faculty-mentored research and creative projects. Last academic year alone, 696 undergraduate students contributed to research projects. This includes numerous examples of students collaborating as research assistants on faculty-led projects, as well as a growing number of students who are conducting their own research to advance new knowledge.
When students are empowered to take the driver’s seat in pursuit of projects that are fueled by their own ideas, passions, and desire to address real-world challenges, they can imagine new possibilities for themselves, their communities, and their world.
As an extension of DU’s deep commitment to the teacher-scholar model, we are expanding our commitment to student-driven, faculty-mentored research and creative projects, which we call Undergraduate Research and Signature Work.
Your gift today to Undergraduate Signature Research Grants immediately benefits DU students and gifts them the ability to:
- Apply classroom knowledge, concepts and lessons
- Learn to write grant proposals that explain their passions and ideas
- Receive funding to fuel their ideas
- Build skills applicable to today and their post-graduation career
- Connect one-on-one with faculty experts and peers
- Collaborate with partners in the community making a difference now
- Participate in DU's annual “Research and Scholarship Showcase”
By giving, you join our community of alumni and friends around the world in making a difference in the lives of students and faculty. Your contribution will count toward our Denver Difference campaign goal and help us show the world what DU can do.
