Donate to the Newman Center’s Education Fund during #1Day4DU and support expanded arts education programming for K-12 students across the Denver metro region. When you contribute to the Education Fund, you underwrite student tickets for live performances at the Newman Center, hands-on performing arts curriculum, artist classroom visits, and an all-new professional development program for teachers with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion through the arts.
Your investment in the Newman Center’s Education Fund allows more than 3,000 K-12 students to experience performances by local and national partners such as Fiesta Colorado and Dance Theatre of Harlem and provides teachers with turnkey arts-integrated curricula that connects students’ lived experiences to the larger world. All Newman Center K- 12 education programs are aligned with the Colorado Department of Education arts and social-emotional learning standards.
Your #1Day4DU contribution supports:
- Free access to our Musical Explorers program for over 900 Denver Public School students and teachers;
- More Student Matinee performances across the season, attended by 1,800 third through twelfth grade students annually, and
- Free transportation to programs hosted at the Newman Center for teachers and schools who otherwise would not be able to attend.
Join us on May 18, 2022 by donating to the Newman’s Center Education fund during #1Day4DU and give K-12 students in our community the gift of connection--to artists, performances, creativity, the greater world, and ultimately, to self.
