About

Understanding disease in animals, people, and our shared environment is essential to protecting global health. Through a One Health framework, Pathobiology prepares students for careers in human and veterinary medicine, biotechnology, biomedical research, and public health.

During UConn Gives, your support advances programs like START and PATHWAYS, which connect Pathobiology majors to hands on research, dedicated mentorship, and early professional development. Your gift expands access to state-of-the-art laboratory experiences and experiential learning while strengthening the pipeline of future physicians, veterinarians, scientists, and biotechnology professionals prepared to tackle health challenges at the intersection of animals, humans, and ecosystems.

Our Highlighted Funds:

Pathobiology General Fund –
