UConn Men’s Crew is rowing forward with determination, and we need your help to uphold our legacy of excellence, teamwork, and dedication. Your contribution will directly support essential team operations, critical equipment purchases, and our new full-time head coach, Logan McClennen.
This fall, we faced two enormous challenges:
Our beloved head coach of the past 10 years, Marysa Semprebon, started a new chapter and passed the baton to our new full-time head coach, Logan McClennen. We are forever grateful to Marysa for her passion, stewardship, and dedication to growing the program to where it is today! The team and its supporters are excited to see how Logan will be growing the team and its success! Please click here https://www.uconnmenscrew.org/coaches to learn more about Logan.
- The UConn Undergraduate Student Government (USG) unfortunately needed to cut $10,000 from our semesterly budget, creating a massive financial shortfall that is critical to replenish. With your help of gracious donations, we can bring back these funds to support our team and allow it to reach the potential we know it has!
Our team’s journey to success is deeply rooted in resilience. From the early years of our program, wet docking from a Coventry Lake home owned by a neighbor with a big heart, to our unforgettable 2019 Grandfinals appearance, to all the challenges we faced during the pandemic, UConn Men’s Crew has always found a way to carry the team’s legacy forward. This year, we are more committed than ever to growing and strengthening the team!
We are phone banking as usual, giving alumni a chance to connect with current team members to hear firsthand how much their legacy matters. Also, the UConn Foundation is generously offering $1,000 in prize money to the team with the most individual donors (minimum $5) and $1,000 for the most funds raised overall; we intend to win that competition with your support!
Thank you again for considering a tax-deductible donation to UConn Men’s Crew!
