Established in 2013, we are an officially recognized US Figure Skating Collegiate Club. Our skaters are the true definition of student athletes, excelling on the ice and in the classroom. We compete in all levels for both freestyle and solo ice dance in the Northeastern Collegiate Conference. Despite consisting of only around twenty members, our team consistently places top ten in every Intercollegiate competition we attend. We travel to three qualifying competitions per year in the hopes of skating at the Intercollegiate Team Championships.
UConn Figure Skating offers a great opportunity for recreational and competitive skaters alike to train, improve, and compete. We have two wonderful coaches, Sara Bailey Cote and Justin Kozikowski, who support us both on and off the ice. We are a group with diverse interests off the ice, but we all come together with our shared passion for skating. We are each other’s best friends, biggest cheering section, and most reliable support system!
