The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) at CU is focused on building an inclusive community for strong female engineers and for those of other minorities by establishing a support system for the collegiate to professional transition, by giving back through outreach programs, by furthering opportunities and by cultivating a strong network for the CU community.
Donor Impact
This academic year, 347 students received support through this fund providing them important financial support to access a CU Boulder education from the College of Engineering and Applied Science. Scholarship recipients benefit from participating in professional development events hosted by the SWE, such as the annual Women in Engineering Panel featuring alumnae from the college with various engineering backgrounds and experiences together to engage in an honest conversation on how women can be supported and uplifted.
