Join us on our mission to create unique educational experiences that put students on a path toward their dream career and societal impact.
The Tech4Good Lab is pioneering a unique educational model providing undergraduate students with opportunities to build platforms for social good while learning (see our TEDx talk on Redesigning Our Economy to Maximize People's Fullest Contribution or Kraw lecture on Designing Human-AI Ecosystems for Education, Work, and Communities). Student teams have launched innovative programs and platforms that have served 1,000+ UCSC students as well as supported local nonprofits.
We need your help to sustain and grow these opportunities by supporting a one-year leadership program that will enable undergraduate students to lead and grow the program.
Your donation will go toward creating stories like these (not real names, more stories here):
Jane describes experiencing something different from any class or club she’d been part of: “I loved being part of teams whose mission was focused on addressing social issues and creating solutions for communities to overcome different barriers.” Today, Jane works in UX research, helping California community colleges achieve equity, a path she found because of Tech4Good.
Jake talks about spending much of college living in constant stress, leading to shortness of breath and panic attacks. But he joined the lab, and says, “Before I knew it, I was a part of something bigger than myself, a community. I could be vulnerable, and I was surrounded by people determined to help. Things that would cause me stress in the past began to motivate me.”
Every student has a unique contribution to make to society. They just need the opportunity. If you believe in creating opportunities for the next generation, make a gift today!
Thank you!
