Engineers without Borders is aiming to raise $8000 by November to help fund our sustainable mechatronic projects that serve communities in need locally and around the world.
We are a UCR student led chapter that builds a better world through engineering projects that can empower communities by promoting humanitarian engineering. Recruiting members from all majors and levels to build solutions to real life challenges. Our members can gain hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering while working with others, leading to project management skills and leadership.
This year, we are tackling the Farm Robotics Challenge, where we are partnering with agricultural professionals to listen to their problems and develop solutions alongside them. Together, we can design and build a robot that addresses real-life agricultural needs. Funding would help us build and prototype our concepts and compete with other schools.
Your support will help us:
Fund project design and remove any limitations - cover the cost of materials, tools, and machinery so our team can work worry-free
Expand experience and mentorship - hands-on experience for members and connect them with peers and leads
Build long term solutions - design concepts that are built to last and improve as they serve
Fund team travel - send members to participate in the Farm Robotics Challenge and project sites to use our product actively
Every dollar will directly go into turning the students' ideas into real life solutions. $5 or $500 dollars will help grow us engineers who design with purpose and impact. Donate to help us build a better future!
