National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) 25

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) at UCR is dedicated to increasing the number of culturally responsible engineers. In order to fulfill this mission we host numerous events that help recruit and maintain members. We are also a professional development organization that brings out guest speakers and companies that come out to educate us on being professional and what it takes to make it in the corporate world. In addition to this, we have two conferences (Fall Regional Conference and National Convention). Our organization is about being well- rounded so we have outreach programs that educate younger students. A couple of those programs involve tutoring/mentoring, MESA day, and Unity Day just to name a few.

• BCOE Dean's Innovation Fund - NSBE Current Use - gift of $25 or more, up to $1,000 will be matched, dollar for dollar, until available matching funds run out or till Nov 8, immediate support for NSBE projects and events this year.
• NSBE Endowed Fund - gifts of $25 or more, up to $1,000 will be matched, dollar for dollar and are invested with annual proceeds providing long-term support for NSBE.
