S2P is a professional training and development program for UCR PhD students who are interested in science and technology policy issues. Directed by Susan Hackwood and Doug Brown and located in the School of Public Policy, S2P introduces students to valuable skills and opportunities to engage with policymakers, elected leaders, executives, and other stakeholders to put knowledge into action. Founded in 2018, the program has grown steadily, driven by a vision of public policy grounded in sound science for the good of society.
