Traveling to a national or international professional society conference, symposium, or workshop to present and defend research or to pursue research travel is a critical part of graduate student education, and unfortunately, travel funds are frequently insufficient for graduate students to take advantage of these essential educational opportunities.

Thanks to the support of the UCR community, the UCR Emeriti Association (UCREA) is now awarding travel award(s) quarterly.

Give Day Challenge
This year, four generous donors have committed a combined pledge of $4,000 in support of Give Day. Their combined pledge will match donations to the UCR Emeriti Association Graduate Student Travel Award Fund dollar for dollar, up to $1,000 per gift, up to a total of $4,000 for all gifts.
