The UCR Moot Court Program gives students a rare opportunity to step beyond the classroom and into the world of courtroom advocacy. Through intensive preparation and competition, students develop the critical thinking, writing, and oral argument skills essential for success in law school and the legal profession.
Participants draft appellate briefs, prepare detailed legal arguments, and present cases before panels of judges and practicing attorneys. This year, our team competed against top universities across the state and nation, demonstrating exceptional dedication, professionalism, and talent.
However, these opportunities come at a cost. Travel, lodging, and competition fees can create significant financial barriers for students.
