Join us in supporting PhD and MFA scholars to seed the next generation of experts, scholars, and creatives emerging from UCR!
Students in PhD and MFA programs are required to produce complex, thoroughly researched projects and dissertations in order to successfully complete their programs. In the humanities, arts, and social sciences, this means years of in-depth research in archives, fieldwork, interviews, data analysis and other methods, and often requires travel and reliable access to funding for research-related expenses.
The Graduate Student Research Grants at the Center for Ideas and Society are annual awards to student scholars in CHASS, designed to provide targeted, just-in-time funding to help students access the materials, locations, and people needed to develop their projects.
Your generous gift to the Graduate Student Research Program will make a significant and immediate difference by increasing the amount of funding available for next year's award cycle.
