When students engage in leadership and service opportunities at UCR, they elevate their leadership skills, become better prepared for professional success, and make a meaningful impact on their communities.
Our goal is to raise $7,500 to support our annual UCR Leadership Week and large-scale service opportunities at UCR and within the Riverside community. During UCR Leadership Week, students have the opportunity to attend a community engagement fair and interact with nonprofits within the Riverside area and attend workshops on how to build their social capital through networking. Throughout the academic year, students have the opportunity to engage in large-scale service events such as our annual MLK Day of Service which included 5 projects throughout Riverside.
By meeting our goal of $7,500, we would be able to continue hosting leadership and service programs that give students the opportunity to enhance their leadership skills and make a positive impact in their communities.
