About

The Orbach Science Library, named after physicist and former UCR Chancellor Raymond L. Orbach, is a vital resource for UCR students and researchers, offering specialized materials in the sciences, engineering, parasitology, renewable energy, statistics, and the history of timekeeping to name a few. Your support will ensure that the Orbach Library continues to thrive as a hub of discovery, helping us expand and maintain our STEM collections by funding the purchase of additional books, journals, and databases while also improving study spaces and facilities.

Orbach Library is a place where all students can not only study, but develop hands-on practical skills and experience in spaces like the Creat’R Lab Makerspace, Robotics Lab, Scholarly Technology and Research Lab, and 3D Experience Lab, where they can explore technology, design, and innovation in a collaborative, creative environment. Help us continue to create an environment where Highlanders push boundaries, solve complex problems, and build a brighter future.
