The Department of Evolution, Ecology and Organismal Biology (EEOB) at UCR is responsible for instruction of the biology major -- consistently among the largest majors on campus. Our world-class faculty equips students with a deep and well-rounded understanding of life sciences.
We teach classes ranging from molecular and cellular biology, to ecology, evolution, and physiology of living organisms. EEOB researchers also study biodiversity, adaptation, and species interactions through global field and lab work, advancing knowledge of life in changing environments.
