The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) at UC Merced is a professional organization dedicated to advancing innovation, engineering knowledge, and professional development in mechanical engineering. ASME at UCM provides students with opportunities to develop technical skills, engage in hands-on projects, attend networking events, and connect with industry leaders. Through workshops, competitions, conferences, and collaborative events, ASME at UCM promotes engineering excellence while preparing members for successful careers in engineering and related industries.

Fundraising Goal
ASME is raising funds to support its Delivery Bob-cat project, enhancing hands-on learning opportunities that strengthen UC Merced’s engineering community. With the necessary equipment, students can apply classroom knowledge to real-world design challenges while developing leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. The project will also be showcased at campus events, competitions, and outreach activities, helping highlight UC Merced’s engineering programs and inspire future students.
