The Pilipinx American Alliance (PAA) was established during the inaugural opening of UC Merced in 2005. In an ongoing attempt to serve and interact with the Pilipinx/Filipinx/Filipinx-American community, PAA stands to promote a network of social support through the encouragement of political struggle, academic excellence, and cultural awareness while celebrating cultural diversity.
Fundraising Goal
PAA is fundraising to continue to support cultural programs that promote the Filipino culture and history through Pilipino Cultural Night. Funds raised will help support cultural programming that has been a staple of cultural unity for all of the UC Merced community.
