At UC Davis Undergraduate Education, we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to engage in transformative experiential learning programs that shape their future. Unfortunately, many students are currently forced to decline invaluable experiences—such as the Washington Program, First-Year Seminars, and Quarter at Aggie Square—simply due to the lack of resources for transportation to field trips and internships in the Sacramento Region and beyond. This challenge disproportionately affects first-generation and low-income students, who may lack the means to participate in these enriching programs.
