The Faith & Spirituality Centre (FSC) is dedicated to fostering a welcoming, pluralistic community where students can explore, faith, culture, and spirituality in an inclusive and respectful environment. Through cultural and religious literacy, community-building initiatives, and social change efforts, the FSC plays a vital role in shaping the student experience at the University of Calgary.
At the FSC, students have access to:
- 20+ Faith Representatives/Chaplains for one-on-one support
- A peer support program by trained student volunteers
- Bookable multi-faith spaces for prayer, meditation, and reflection
- A lending library with diverse spiritual and religious reflection
- Events and programs that celebrate inclusion, wellness, and interfaith dialogue
βThe FSC gave me a community that I could think critically about religion with, but also to learn and share in a respectful environment. The FSC also gave me lifelong friends and a lot of laughs and strange conversations. It especially gave me a deeper appreciation and love for my own faithβ

βI love the FSC because of the people. In that place, a community gathers of folks who are thoughtful about their commitments and open to sharing them. People there brave together a diverse community and trust one another's kindness and curiosity. At the FSC 'belonging' is centralβ
