Support our bright students and future policy makers: you will pave the path to excellence.
As the founding Director of The School of Public Policy and the first James S. and Barbara A. Palmer Chair in Public Policy, Dr. Jack Mintz set a standard of excellence for the foundation of Canadaโs leading policy school. In recognition of his dedication to The School and his impact on public policy in Canada, The Mintz Family Scholarship in Policy Excellence has been created to support future Master of Public Policy students with generous tuition.
"Incredible profs and an amazing learning environment with 35 to 40 people who go through the program with you. You become really close with your classmates, and because it's one year, it's just 'Get after it' and start learning about all these new subjects. Everybody is there for a reason and dialed in to get going."
- Ben Harford, 2024 MPP Graduate
With a gift to this scholarship, you will support the brightest students and Canadaโs future policy leaders while recognizing the unparalleled contribution of Dr. Mintz to the current role and the prestige of the School of Public Policy.
"As an international student, interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and different perspectives with exceptional work ethics helped me learn and adapt to a completely different setting. The most impressive element of the program was how my classroom learning experience was complemented through association with peers and faculty members."
- Ohi Ahmed, 2024 MPP Graduate
