Train Older Adults in CPR and First Aid

Emergencies can happen anywhere—and being prepared can save a life. Through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) in the College of Education and Health Professions, the Lifesaving Skills for Everyday Heroes program provides hands-on CPR and First Aid training designed specifically for older adults. Participants learn practical, easy-to-follow techniques and receive official certification, empowering them to respond confidently in emergencies involving family members, neighbors, or community members.
Your support helps expand access to this vital training for older adults across Northwest Arkansas. By increasing the number of people equipped with lifesaving skills, this program strengthens community safety, builds confidence, and supports the University of Arkansas’s land-grant mission to provide meaningful lifelong learning opportunities beyond campus. Together, we can empower everyday heroes who are ready to step up when every second counts.
