UAB Libraries: The Pathway to Student Success

From textbook and technology loans to research help and job opportunities, UAB Libraries is a dedicated partner for student success. In the emerging technology labs, students design prototypes, build digital projects, and bring imagination to life, while honing skills for their future careers. In the past three years, students completed more than 5,500 3D printing projects and visited emerging technology labs nearly 55,000 times. In 2025, library faculty and staff answered more than 21,000 questions and led more than 1,200 instructional sessions. Support from philanthropic donors and UAB Giving Days will help ensure that the extensive resources of UAB Libraries remain strong in supporting student success for this generation and the next. An investment of $200 will help keep the laptop loan program strong, while an investment of $25 can fund a complete 3D printing project.
