Suit Up for Success, powered by the Career Closet

For many UAB students, acquiring professional clothing can be a significant challenge because of financial limitations. By helping them obtain professional attire, the UAB Career Closet helps instill confidence in hundreds of students putting their best foot forward on the path to rewarding careers. Suit Up for Success exists to help eliminate that barrier by providing students with the attire they need for interviews, career fairs, networking events, and internships. Support from UAB Giving Days is essential to keeping the Career Closet operational and ready for students. Donations help cover the cost of cleaning and sizing clothing, maintaining the physical space in the Hill Student Center, and providing gift cards when a student’s specific clothing needs cannot be met through existing inventory. A $100 gift can help a student secure appropriate professional attire when unique sizing or limited options present a challenge.
