Located in the heart of the UAB campus, within the School of Education and Human Sciences, the UAB Community Counseling Clinic serves as a clinical training site for graduate students in the Counseling Program who are completing their practicum and internship clinical experiences. These well-trained student counselors conduct all counseling sessions for mental health, couples, and family counseling needs, for members of the greater Birmingham and surrounding communities, while under clinical supervision of the clinic director and program faculty.
Because we are committed to enhancing the accessibility and affordability of counseling services throughout the community, all counseling sessions at the clinic are offered at a lot flat fee of $10 per session for individual, couples, and family sessions.
