Education Abroad provides transformational opportunities for students to earn college credit through a variety of courses, exchange programs, internships, and service-learning opportunities. Students who have the opportunity to study abroad are proven to return with higher levels of maturity, increased interest in a career direction, higher self-confidence, and unique tools for success in the global economy and their future careers. As a university that is invested in improving the world, we have placed a high priority on providing our students with these transformative opportunities.
In 2024, 169 students spent time studying abroad for academic credit. For most students what stops them from pursuing this opportunity are the one-time costs of travel, obtaining a passport, or other associated fees. Of the students that went abroad last year 46 were students of significant financial need. With help from donors like you we can provide scholarship assistance to unlock a life altering educational opportunity both academically and personally.
