Magic City LGBTQ Health Studies Initiative Community & Advocacy Pop Up

As a member of the School of Public Health community, we invite you to support the Pop Up in Railroad Park during Give As One. Launched in 2022, the annual Pop Up in Railroad Park aims to simultaneously attract and recruit LGBTQ health leaders and advocates to the UAB School of Public Health while elevating the focus on LGBTQ communities in Birmingham, Alabama. While LGBTQ events often focus on the unique risks faced by LGBTQ communities, this event creates an opportunity to move beyond and celebrate their resilience.

Hosted by the Deep South Initiative for Advancing Sexual and Gender Minority Health and in partnership with several local community groups, your gift will support a fun-filled evening of music, food trucks and a celebration of everyone who helps to make Birmingham so unique.
